THIS PROJECT EXISTS BECAUSE OF YOU.

Whether you're sending cards or receiving them, donating money or volunteering your time: The Rainbow Cards Project is possible because of you.

SHARE

Getting the word out about this project is incredibly important to us, because the more people who know about us, the more lives we can touch and the more love we can spread. If you are part of an LGBTQ+ club, committee, organisation, or are holding any kind of LGBTQ+ pride or other event, and wouldn’t mind spreading the word about us, please get in touch! We can provide posters and/or ‘business’ cards with our information on that you can stick up or hand out to attendees and members.

GET INVOLVED

Believe in our vision? Here's how you can be a part of it:

WRITE

It's simple: write a card (or several) that will put a smile on someone's face. You can write just once, or you can pledge to write regularly - there is no pressure at all. You can also write letters to our recipients which will be sent to them as a wonderful, spontaneous surprise rather than just for special occasions. We are so grateful to everyone who writes because every single card will go on to make a difference to someone. For more information on how the sending process works click the button below.

Two feminine thighs are pressed together, and one feminine hand draws a heart on the other's thigh with a pink sharpie whilst the other person cups their hand tenderly as if to guide it.

DONATE

This project is a non-profit, soon to be registered with HMRC as a recognised charity, so we rely on donations of many kinds to keep the project going. Even if you cannot spare money there are other things you can donate and we are incredibly grateful for every donation, whether you can give a little or a lot.
For more details about how, and what, you can donate, click the button below.

RECEIVE

If any of your relatives have stopped sending you cards, or otherwise made you feel outcast or isolated due to the fact you are LGBTQ+ please allow us to welcome you into the little family we’re building with this project. Everyone is welcome; regardless of age, gender, location, or anything else. All you have to do is fill in a short form and you're in! We would love for you to join us, so if you’d love that too, please click the button below to find out more about becoming a recipient.

Any questions? Check out our FAQ or contact us - we're happy to help.

"We need more kindness, more compassion, more joy, more laughter. I definitely want to contribute to that."
